The minimum hanging height for the Osmund is 15 inches from the ceiling to the bottom of the fixture. We suggest using this clearance for dining areas with standard ceiling heights. This ensures the light remains well-positioned above your table surface. Please measure your ceiling height before finalizing your installation.

Can I use a standard wall dimmer to adjust the light levels for my evening dinner parties?

Yes, you can certainly use a compatible TRIAC or ELV dimmer to control the intensity of this pendant. We recommend selecting a high-quality dimmer switch to ensure smooth performance. This allows you to easily soften the 960 lumens of light for a more intimate mood during your evening gatherings.

Should I install two or three Osmund pendants above my kitchen island?

Two Osmund pendants are usually enough for a 6- to 7-foot island; three may be better for an 8-foot or longer surface. We recommend spacing the 12.63-inch fixtures 24 to 30 inches apart on center so the warm 3000K light feels balanced across the island.
