Description

The Alison 24" Wall Sconce brings the collection’s botanical character to a slender, decorative silhouette, creating both functional lighting and a piece of wall art. Finished in Antique Silver, a vertical steel stem is accented with sculpted leaves that extend above and below a tailored white half-drum shade, creating an elegant layered composition. The fabric shade softly diffuses the light, while its 4.5" extension gives Alison a graceful presence without taking up much visual space. It is a refined choice for bedrooms, hallways, dining areas, or flanking artwork in traditional, vintage-inspired, and transitional interiors.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will this sconce sit comfortably beside a bedroom mirror without projecting too far?

Yes, its 4.5-inch projection keeps it relatively close to the wall, which can be helpful beside a mirror or in a narrower passage. At 8.5 inches wide, allow room for the shade when planning placement. We recommend measuring the available wall area before installation. Compare all sizes in the collection for your space.

Can I use a wall dimmer to create softer light in the evening?

Yes, this sconce is dimmable, so you can adjust its light for a quieter evening setting. The dimmer is not included, and the fixture uses two E12 candelabra bulbs, giving you flexibility to choose the light level that suits the room. We recommend confirming bulb and dimmer compatibility. See the full specifications for details.

Does this sconce use replaceable bulbs, or is the light source built in?

It uses replaceable bulbs rather than an integrated light source, so you can change them as needed. The two sockets take E12 candelabra bulbs, with a maximum of 60 watts per socket. We recommend choosing bulbs suited to your preferred brightness and checking their dimensions against the fabric shade. Verify bulb compatibility before installation.
