Description

The Concord Swing Arm Wall Sconce brings mid-century modern style to a functional, adjustable design. Finished in Antique White, a broad conical steel shade extends from a long swing arm that pivots to the right or left, allowing you to reposition the light across a wider area. The shade itself is fixed in place, keeping the downward-facing beam consistent while the arm provides side-to-side flexibility. This makes Concord especially useful beside a bed, reading chair, desk, or workspace where focused light may need to shift throughout the day.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will the Concord arm reach far enough to bring light closer to my reading chair?

Yes, its 18.75-inch extension gives you useful reach from the wall, so the light can sit closer to a chair or bedside reading area. We recommend allowing room for the arm to move without meeting nearby furniture. Its 8.75-inch shade keeps the light focused; measure clearance before ordering.

What kind of bulb should I choose for comfortable reading light?

Choose one E12 candelabra-base bulb, rated up to 60 watts, to suit the socket. The bulb is not included, so you can select a compatible option for the level of reading light you prefer. We recommend checking the bulb’s shape against the steel shade. Review the bulb details before installation.

Does this sconce need to be hard-wired, or can I plug it into an outlet?

It is designed for hard-wired indoor installation, not plug-in use. Its 4.75-inch-diameter backplate provides a compact wall footprint, while the fixture’s UL Damp rating confirms suitability for damp locations. We recommend having the wiring connection handled appropriately for your home. Verify the junction box rating before installation.
