Frequently Asked Questions

How much vertical space should I allow for this pendant on my covered porch?

The minimum hanging height is 50.25 inches from the ceiling to the bottom of the shade. We recommend measuring your porch clearance carefully to ensure the 19-inch tall fixture sits well above head height. This ensures the woven form remains clear of high-traffic areas. Measure clearance before ordering.

Can I connect this to a wall dimmer to adjust the brightness level?

Yes, this fixture is fully compatible with standard wall dimmers. We suggest pairing it with a high-quality dimmer to manage the glow from your E26 medium base bulb, allowing you to soften the light for evening ambiance. This provides complete control over your outdoor lighting intensity. Verify junction box rating.

Is this fixture safe to install in an area exposed to direct rain?

Yes, the Haven is UL wet rated, meaning it is engineered to withstand direct exposure to rain and moisture. We recommend using an E26 medium base bulb that is also rated for outdoor use to ensure longevity. The durable all-weather wicker construction ensures lasting performance outdoors.
