What exactly is the "Urban Bronze with Brushed Gold" finish?

This gorgeous two-tone finish pairs a dark, matte Urban Bronze on the main body of the fixture with striking Brushed Gold accents. With two 40W sockets, is this sconce bright enough to light a living room?

While 80 watts of total incandescent light provides a beautiful ambient glow, you can easily maximize the brightness by installing high-lumen E12 LED candelabra bulbs. Because LEDs draw very little power, you can safely use bulbs that offer the brightness equivalent of a 60W incandescent per socket. This provides exceptional, fully dimmable light that can easily brighten a dark living space.

Does the square backplate require a special electrical box to install?

No special box is required. The 4.75" W x 4.75" H backplate is perfectly sized to completely cover a standard 4-inch round or octagonal wall junction box. However, because it is a square backplate supporting a very tall 26-inch fixture, we highly recommend using a small hand level during installation to ensure the mounting crossbar sits perfectly straight before tightening the screws.
