Frequently Asked Questions

Will this lantern stay lit automatically after the sun goes down?

Yes, its dusk-to-dawn sensor switches the lantern on automatically as evening arrives, so there is no need to remember a daily switch. The solar-rechargeable battery supports outdoor use, while the warm white flicker keeps the candlelike effect gentle. We recommend placing it where the solar panel can receive daylight; see the full specifications for details.

Is this lantern protected enough for an uncovered outdoor spot?

Yes, the IP44 rating and waterproof construction make it suitable for outdoor use, including a sheltered entry or garden table. Its iron and resin build gives the lantern a substantial, traditional feel without an electrical cord. We recommend choosing a position that receives daylight for recharging; verify the IP44 rating against your intended placement.

Can I control the flickering candle effect with a remote?

Yes, this lantern is compatible with the Infinity Wick Remote Control, offering a convenient way to manage its flickering candle effect. It also includes an on/off switch, while the dusk-to-dawn sensor can handle automatic evening operation. We recommend confirming remote-control availability separately, as it is compatible but not listed as included; review the product details before planning control.
