Frequently Asked Questions

What is the absolute shortest distance I can hang this pendant from my dining room ceiling?

The minimum hanging height for this fixture is 37.28 inches from the ceiling to the bottom of the shade. We recommend measuring your table height to ensure comfortable clearance for guests. This allows the piece to maintain its intended profile while providing ample light. Verify your ceiling height before ordering.

Can I adjust the brightness of this pendant for my evening dinner parties?

Yes, this fixture is fully compatible with standard wall dimmers, allowing you to curate the light intensity for any occasion. We suggest pairing it with a high-quality dimmer switch to manage the two E26 medium base bulbs effectively. This provides total control over the atmosphere in your dining room space.

Does the Stratford pendant require a specific bulb shape to fit inside the opal glass?

We recommend using standard A-type bulbs to ensure they fit perfectly within the opal glass shades. Since the fixture utilizes two E26 medium base sockets with a 60W maximum capacity, these bulbs provide the most consistent illumination. Always check the socket compatibility to ensure proper fitment for your specific setup.
