Description

The Stratford Large Pendant brings classic RLM-inspired character to a clean, generously scaled silhouette. A broad Aged Brass shade creates the familiar utilitarian profile, while a matte opal glass diffuser softens the light for a warm, comfortable glow. Its 20.3" diameter gives the fixture a strong visual presence without feeling overly heavy, making it well suited over kitchen islands, breakfast tables, dining areas, or other spaces where a simple vintage-inspired form can make an impact. Adjustable rods and sloped-ceiling compatibility add flexibility for a range of installations.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the absolute closest I can hang the Stratford pendant from my dining room ceiling?

The minimum hanging height for this fixture is 27.28 inches from the ceiling to the bottom of the shade. We recommend measuring your table surface to floor distance to ensure adequate clearance for guests. This allows for a balanced profile in rooms with standard heights. Measure clearance before ordering.

Can I use a standard wall dimmer to adjust the light intensity for my dinner parties?

Yes, this pendant is fully compatible with standard wall dimmers. We suggest pairing it with a high-quality incandescent or compatible LED A-bulb to achieve your preferred ambiance. This flexibility allows you to transition from bright task lighting to a soft glow for evening gatherings. Verify junction box rating before installation.

Is the Stratford pendant safe to install on the sloped ceiling in my entryway?

Yes, this pendant is specifically designed to accommodate sloped ceilings. We recommend utilizing the included rod system to ensure the fixture hangs perfectly level regardless of the angle. Its sturdy construction supports this flexibility while maintaining a clean look. Confirm your junction box is rated for support before beginning installation.
