Frequently Asked Questions

Is the Stratford Medium Flush Mount safe to install in my bathroom?

Yes, this fixture is ETL damp rated, making it suitable for bathroom environments. We recommend placing it in areas with moisture, such as a powder room or guest bath. The terracotta and brass construction holds up well in these spaces. Verify your junction box rating before finalizing the installation process.

Can I connect the Stratford to a wall dimmer to manage the light intensity?

Yes, this fixture is fully dimmable, allowing you to control the output for your preferred ambiance. We suggest pairing it with a compatible wall dimmer to soften the glow from the opal glass shade. This flexibility ensures the light remains comfortable for any time of day. Explore every finish available.

Does the Stratford require a specific bulb shape to fit inside the glass shade?

We recommend using a standard A-bulb for this fixture to ensure a proper fit within the opal glass. The socket accommodates one E26 medium base bulb up to 60 watts. This classic shape provides even light distribution across the diffuser. Find the full spec sheet for all technical installation details.
