A substantial stoneware ceramic form frames a matte opal glass shade, creating a layered look that balances organic texture with a clean, contemporary profile. The opal glass gently diffuses the light for a warm, even glow, while the compact 15" scale makes Stratford easy to use over kitchen islands, breakfast tables, dining areas, or in pairs for a more tailored installation. Frequently Asked Questions

What is the absolute closest I can hang this pendant from my dining room ceiling?

The minimum hanging height for this fixture is 27.28 inches from the ceiling to the bottom of the shade. We recommend measuring your space carefully, as this distance ensures the opal glass sits at an ideal level for dining. Always verify your ceiling height before finalizing your installation plans today.

Can I use a standard wall dimmer to control the light intensity for my evening dinner parties?

Yes, this fixture is fully compatible with standard wall dimmers. We suggest pairing it with a high-quality dimmer switch to manage the 60W maximum output of your chosen bulb. This allows you to soften the glow of the opal glass during meals. Check your wall switch compatibility before starting installation.

Is this pendant suitable for use in a humid kitchen environment?

Yes, this piece is ETL damp rated, making it perfectly safe for kitchen use where moisture levels fluctuate. We recommend using an A-style bulb to ensure the light distributes evenly through the matte opal glass. This rating confirms the fixture is built for long-term durability. Review all safety certifications beforehand.
