Frequently Asked Questions

What is the absolute minimum distance I can hang the Stratford pendant from my dining room ceiling?

The minimum hanging height is 27.28 inches from the ceiling to the bottom of the fixture. We recommend verifying your ceiling height to ensure this clearance suits your space. This provides a balanced look for standard dining areas. Always measure your available vertical space before finalizing your installation plan today.

Can I use a standard wall dimmer to control the light intensity for my evening dinner parties?

Yes, this fixture is fully dimmable with a standard wall dimmer. We suggest selecting a high-quality dimmer switch to pair with your preferred E26 medium base bulb. This allows you to create the perfect ambiance for any occasion. Consult your electrician to ensure compatibility with your existing home wiring.

Is the Stratford pendant safe to install in a kitchen where there might be some humidity?

Yes, this pendant is ETL Damp Rated, making it perfectly suitable for kitchen environments. We recommend utilizing an A-style bulb up to 60 watts to achieve your desired light output. The opal glass shade provides a soft, diffused glow throughout the room. Verify your junction box rating before installation begins.
