Description

The Stratford Medium Pendant brings a sculptural, handcrafted quality to a softly rounded pendant silhouette. A substantial stoneware ceramic form frames a matte opal glass shade, creating a layered look that balances organic texture with a clean, contemporary profile. The opal glass gently diffuses the light for a warm, even glow, while the compact 15" scale makes Stratford easy to use over kitchen islands, breakfast tables, dining areas, or in pairs for a more tailored installation. Adjustable rods and sloped-ceiling compatibility add flexibility across a range of spaces.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I hang the Stratford pendant in my kitchen if the ceiling is sloped?

Yes, this fixture is designed for sloped ceiling installation. We recommend utilizing the included rods to ensure the canopy sits level against your ceiling surface. Since the Stratford is ETL damp rated, it functions safely in kitchen environments. Always verify your junction box is secure before finalizing the hanging height.

Will I be able to adjust the light intensity for my evening dinner parties?

Yes, this pendant is fully compatible with standard wall dimmers. We suggest pairing it with a high-quality dimmer switch to control the 60W maximum output of the E26 medium base socket. This allows you to create the desired ambiance for any occasion. Please consult your electrician regarding compatible dimmer hardware.

Does the Stratford pendant require a specific bulb shape to fit inside the opal glass?

Yes, we recommend using an A-type bulb to ensure it fits properly within the 15-inch opal glass shade. The E26 medium base socket is designed to accommodate this standard shape, providing even light distribution through the matte glass. Check the bulb packaging to confirm the shape matches your specific needs.
