Frequently Asked Questions

What is the absolute shortest distance I can hang the Stratford pendant from my dining room ceiling?

The minimum hanging height for this fixture is 31.28 inches from the ceiling to the bottom of the shade. We suggest measuring your table surface to ensure this clearance works for your specific room. Always verify your ceiling height before finalizing the installation plan for this particular lighting setup.

Can I use a standard wall dimmer to control the light intensity for my dinner parties?

Yes, this fixture is fully compatible with standard wall dimmers. We recommend pairing it with a high-quality A-bulb to achieve the desired ambiance in your dining space. Since the dimmer is not included, ensure your chosen switch is rated for the 60W maximum load per socket for optimal performance.

Is the Stratford pendant safe to install on the sloped ceiling in my entryway?

Yes, this pendant is designed to accommodate sloped ceilings. We recommend utilizing the included hardware to ensure a secure, level mount even on an angle. The 5-inch canopy provides a clean finish against your ceiling surface. Always confirm your junction box is properly rated for a 13-pound fixture weight.
