Frequently Asked Questions

What is the absolute shortest distance I can hang the Stratford pendant from my dining room ceiling?

The minimum hanging height for this fixture is 31.28 inches from the ceiling to the bottom of the shade. We recommend measuring your ceiling height carefully to ensure this drop provides enough clearance for your table. Always verify your specific room dimensions before finalizing your installation plan for the space.

Can I use a standard wall dimmer to control the light intensity for my evening dinner parties?

Yes, this pendant is fully compatible with standard wall dimmers. We suggest pairing it with a high-quality dimmer switch to achieve the desired ambiance for your home. Since the fixture supports a 60W maximum A bulb, you have excellent flexibility in choosing the ideal brightness for your specific dining area.

Is the Stratford pendant safe to install on the sloped ceiling in my entryway?

Yes, this fixture is specifically engineered for installation on sloped ceilings. We recommend utilizing the included rods to ensure a secure and level mount for your entryway. The versatile design allows for a stable connection even on angled surfaces, so consult your installer to confirm the junction box is ready.
