Frequently Asked Questions

What is the absolute shortest distance I can hang the Stratford pendant from my dining room ceiling?

The minimum hanging height for this piece is 31.28 inches. We recommend verifying your ceiling height to ensure this clearance works for your specific dining table. This measurement includes the provided rods, which help maintain a clean profile. Always measure your space before finalizing your order for the best results.

Can I use a standard wall dimmer to control the light intensity for my evening dinner parties?

Yes, this pendant is fully compatible with standard wall dimmers. We suggest pairing it with a high-quality dimmer switch to achieve your desired ambiance. Since the fixture supports a 60W maximum A-bulb, you have plenty of flexibility to curate the perfect glow. Check your wall switch compatibility before starting installation.

Is the Stratford pendant safe to install on the sloped ceiling in my entryway?

Yes, this fixture is designed to accommodate sloped ceilings. We recommend this model for angled spaces because the hardware is engineered to hang perfectly level. With its 12-inch diameter and sturdy metal construction, it provides a secure fit. Consult your local professional to verify your specific junction box rating today.
