Frequently Asked Questions

What is the absolute closest I can hang the Stratford pendant from my dining room ceiling?

The minimum hanging height is 31.28 inches from the ceiling to the bottom of the fixture. We suggest measuring your table surface to ensure this clearance works for your specific dining arrangement. We recommend verifying your ceiling height before finalizing the installation plan. Measure clearance before ordering your lighting fixtures.

Can I use a standard wall dimmer to control the light intensity for my dinner parties?

Yes, the Stratford is fully compatible with standard wall dimmers. We recommend pairing it with a high-quality A bulb to achieve the desired ambiance for your evening gatherings. We suggest consulting with your electrician to ensure your wall switch is compatible. Verify junction box rating before starting any installation.

Is the Stratford pendant safe to install on the sloped ceiling in my entryway?

Yes, this fixture is designed for sloped ceiling installation. We recommend utilizing the included rods to ensure the canopy sits level against your angled surface. We suggest confirming your ceiling pitch does not exceed the mounting hardware capacity. See it styled in a real room to visualize the final look.
