Frequently Asked Questions

What is the absolute shortest distance I can hang the Stratford pendant from my dining room ceiling?

The minimum hanging height for this fixture is 31.28 inches from the ceiling to the bottom of the shade. We suggest measuring your dining table surface to floor distance to ensure comfortable clearance. This allows for a balanced look in your space. Always verify your ceiling height before final installation.

Can I use a standard wall dimmer to control the light intensity for my dinner parties?

Yes, this pendant is fully compatible with standard wall dimmers. We recommend using a high-quality dimmer switch to adjust the light levels for your evening gatherings. Since it accepts a 60W maximum A-bulb, you have flexibility in choosing the intensity that suits your mood. Test your dimmer before final mounting.

Is the Stratford pendant safe to install on the sloped ceiling in my entryway?

Yes, this fixture is designed to accommodate sloped ceilings. We recommend utilizing the included hardware to ensure a secure, level mount even on an angle. The 5-inch diameter canopy provides a clean finish against the ceiling surface. Confirm your junction box is rated for the 13-pound weight before you begin.
