Frequently Asked Questions

Will this sconce project too far into a narrow hallway?

Its 6.25-inch extension is relatively compact for a wall fixture, though it should still be considered near doorways or tight passages. We recommend checking the walking path and nearby furniture before choosing a mounting location. The 11.13-inch height keeps its profile vertical; measure clearance before ordering.

Can I use a dimmer to create softer light in the evening?

Yes, this sconce is dimmable, so you can adjust its light for a quieter evening setting. The dimmer is not included, and the fixture uses one E12 candelabra-base B bulb rated up to 40 watts. We recommend confirming bulb and dimmer compatibility; review the bulb guidance before installation.

Does this sconce use a standard bulb base, or will I need a specialty bulb?

It uses an E12 candelabra base, a useful detail to confirm when selecting a replacement bulb. The fixture is designed for one B bulb, with a maximum of 40 watts per socket. We recommend choosing an E12 B bulb within that limit; consult the product specifications for the complete lamping details.
